As an absolute minimum,
I would recommend the following:
Platinum no. 1 or 2 (the latter preferably skeletonised).
A complete set of the six RG limiteds, including the "holy grail": the Soixanti?me.
A Septanti?me, preferably platinum with (?) ruthenium dial and WG movement.
A Classique with an engraving, or an art nouveau enamel painting, on the reverse.
A vintage Reverso preferably from 1931.
A Reverso Joaillerie Trois Cabochons, or perhaps a M?lib?e with snow-set diamonds, for the missus.
A Gran'Sport Chronographe on rubber strap - your choice of case.
For everyday use, a fine SS Reverso - perhaps a Grande Date or a Duo on a bracelet.
And finally, my personal favourite: a Reverso Art Deco in rose gold.
