AMVOX 1 times two ...

How to be bitten twice.

I'm, like anyone here, always hunting for the perfect watch.
Sometimes we find one that fits most, if not all, of our requirements and love happens.

I got an AMVOX I, two years back persuaded by a friend that almost push me on a deal and I'm very grateful for that.

This watch follow me on good and bad things and is, as far I can feel, perfect for my taste and usage.

The size, 42mm, falls almost on my upper limit but, given the case design, "dresses" perfect on my wrist.

Very accurate, the 918 movement is a mature evolution of the 916.

The 3 crowns, mimics the Polaris. Perfect balance.

Sportive and, at the same time, elegant enough to be used with a suit.

Now the "insanity" started.

I was offered a second Amovox 1 on a trade. I'm not go to reveal the watch that I "let go" but I could not resist.

Then, #2 was acquired.

Same watch, few serial numbers "younger".

The case back, with the 14 holes to let the alarm sound be loud.

#2 arrived with the JLC bracelet. Very comfortable but too "flashy" for my taste.
Consider also the fact that I'm a strap person. Removed and stored.

Now #1 will be on a vault (It may be vintage in 20 years or so) and #2 will be more frequent used.

Cheers,

Nilo
