I think the local group has some solid Atmos experience, so I'll likely take it there at some point and have them take a look.

I appreciate the response. While I've had watches serviced before I've never had an Atmos looked at, and the relative fragility of it makes me want to be sure I don't leave it in the wrong hands.  ;-)

If it is only a cleaning, a good watchmaker can do it for nothing or almost.

If it is more than that, then you should ask your JLC AD to give you an idea of the price they will charge you. I have strictly no idea on what it can cost you. What I know is that the Manufacture has a whle Dept dedicated to the Atmos, and they are able ...

They certainly appear very delicate and if you see my post in Ruckdee's JLC clock post below you'll see the packaging mine came in which is extensive and I had to put my rear car seats down to fit it in the car..!! I still have all the boxes. I believe if...

...independent clockmakers in the US who are JLC trained in Atmos repair. A Google search should find them. The only problem would be if you need parts. I think that JLC has terminated the parts accounts of most independents. Good luck with repairs, gator...
