Thanks for the information.
Nicholas,
I greatly appreciate your input, I have been watching this board ever since I learned about about the POLARIS early last year. The members here have always had more insight and information even before my AD's have learned anything. As a fledgling collector I am very grateful for such a resource.
Lucky for me I hedged my bets on this watch with more than one of my AD sources and recieved 2 of the time pieces. Thankfully 1 of them came with the original 1st version dial which is the one I decided to keep for myself. Without the knowledge that I got from this site I would never have been aware of the subtle differences made by JLC on the model. Many thanks again, and keep up the great work everyone.
I considered keeping them both, but decided it would be better just to put the funds into expanding my options. Sorry about the quality of the Image.
Best Regards,

For your nice words. I totally understand your relative disappointment about the partially lumed dial. I'm not happy with this detail. But I still love the Polaris, as it is, even with this detail, a fantastic iconic watch. Best, Nicolas
