So...

 

I am sitting at the office getting ready to head down to my AD when i decided to play around with it a little more. I manually advanced the minute hand back and forth a couple days, i adjusted the date a few cycles, i shook the watch a little, i wound it, i did just about everything i could think of. Then i decided to wind the alarm and make it go off. As soon as i progressed the minute hand past the alarm time the alarm went off. I snapped back in the compressor key and surprisingly the second hand started back up. So i played around a little more popped the compressor key out to adjust the time and it stopped again. I could not get it to start. So i set the alarm one more time made it go off snapped back in the compressor key and of course it started agan. I have not tried to stop it again, but how strange is this. Could there be an explanation as to why the watch will only start back up if i make the alarm go off? Anyways, just thought i would let everyone know what happened.

Should i send the watch into service because of this or should i just live with it?

Has anyone had any problems with their NSA? Yesterday i needed to change the time an hour forward for daylight savings. So i did and when i snapped back in the compressor key the second hand would not start up again. I played around with it for awhile, wo...

on youtube where someone seems to be having a similar problem with what they claim to be a brand new NSA. I've had mine for about a month now without issue. Please let us know what you find out.

I had mine for 1,5 years now – no problem with the movement. Contact your AD/JLC Boutique and they will surely solve this. Best Blomman

I have mine for 15 months, now, and no problems at all... Check with your AD, there is nothing that can't be solved. Best, Nicolas.

The second hand stopped and would not start up.I was petrified.Therefore,I turned the hour hand a few revolutions and snapped the crown back and it was ok again.

I have not encountered that problem

but not same problem with my EWA. On few occasions when I change the time and press the crown back in the second's hand does not move, so I just pull the crown back out and push back in and the second's hand starts it rotation.

...moving at all as you turn the compressor key on/off? Cycle the key with a finger over the crown itself. Just speculation, but it sounds as if the key is pulling the crown up a little?
