Being an iconic design, I have always wanted one in my collection
. For me xgt is the perfect size. I don’t necessarily feel the weight as an issue as mentioned in other posts. It feels similar to my duometre or the a lange’s, it is a piece you notice in your wrist,l and to me it gives it a feel of quality.
What you do get is a very elegant piece with a sophisticated feel. I love the fact that it’s almost 20 y old and looks current
It will look good in the formal and non formal attire
The big date and long power reserve are 2 big pluses.
The day and night indicator could have been better but doesn’t take away from tho overall design or perseption of the timepiece
The finish of movement is good/ or at least better than the entry level jlc/ similar to the duometre under the loupe

The overall design is the best quality of the piece, it’s eclectic and elegant .i have two more square shaped pieces , a George from Lang
