Jaeger back in my favour

May 08, 2009,13:37 PM

Shortly after I got my RDM,  Jaeger went,  for me, to very large and brutal heavy looking thick cases. I lost interest in JLC.

Even though the new Hometime is still in a 40mm case, it does look rather elegant. I might just be tempted.

What I would really love is to see is a return to sanity in case sizes. i.e. in a "slightly SMALLER case"

Please: Master Hometime Wrist shot request

Hello, I am just about to decide which JLC to get as my first proper watch. After much consideration and looking at other brands (Zenith, IWC, GP), I lean towards JLC. The newer Master Hometime is my favourite now, but i would really appreciate some wrist...

Welcome here!

Sadly I don't have wristshot pics of this new Master HT, but I have live pics of it. A lovely JLC! Are you interested to see live pics? Best. Nicolas

Thanks

Yes, please. Thank you, any images will be appreciated as I intend to decide within days - I will go to my AD soon to try it on my wrist, too.

Here you are

But of course, nothing beats the Real Experience, and I'm pretty sure that your wrist and your heart will achive to convince you. This Master HT is a real lovely watch! Best, Nicolas...

Thank you very much. HT is such an elegant, understated watch. This is my favourite. Master Compressor is nice too, but the crown overpowers the case somehow for me.

It depends on what you're looking for

If you're after a dressy watch which also offer a Dual Time, the Master HT is for you. If you're more after a sporty watch, the Master Compressor is better. To each his own, my friend. Best, Nicolas

Nicolas, concerning the Master range...

Do you expect that JLC will adopt the revised case shown on this HT model to the rest of the Master range? In my opinion it is more elegant than the previous case, although I have to say, I am very keen on the entire Master series, updated case or not. Ch...

Good question, David

I hope so. The lugs and bezel are more elegant on the new Master HT, indeed. I don't see why JLC wouldn't extend what I personally consider as esthetical improvements on the other Master Cases... But who knows? Best, Nicolas

Master range aesthetics...

Personally I prefer the more slender lines of the new case and for that matter the RDM and the old Master Grande Taille. I would like to see this elegant case shape across the whole range. Cheers David

Well, in the actual production, some watches are for you, JOERICE.

Like the old MUT, or the new ones. The case of the MUT and MGUT is really elegant and correctly sized. Although I love their big watches like the MMR, the Gyro I, or the Amvox Line, I would love a lot to see, ALSO, more dressy watches, like a reincarnatio...
