One of my friends picked his MUT Jubil 39 Platinum, which gave me the opportunity to see the defiintive Watch in the flesh, rather than the proto, and to feel the weight of the platinum case, as the proto was in stainless steel. In platinum, as expected,...  

.. the platinum always generates an almost cold look ; Having said so : - If I may ask : In which metals did the MUT Jubile come ? Only Pt, RG or maybe also WG ? < - secondly : Is the whole Jubilé in noble metal only, or are there maybe ss examples of thi... 

The MUT 39 Jubilé only came in platinum. It was in 2013. The MUT 39 NOT Jubilé came the year after, in rose gold. The second thing is that the Jubilé, even in platinum, was a bargain... 14 K Euros! Best, Nicolas

. This contributes to a bit friendlier equation.. I also deduct, that there was never a WG MUT Jubilee, Just the "Non- Jubilee in RG then.. Which raises the Q, what metal one prefers: Pt -> reduced, sober, clean & noble, really a hidden & cool elegance vs...

.. 2015 - could be a year of decisive changes with my modest "collection", - the way, I have started to see it ! Cause I've started to learn from the masters & Dr Mamadu, who was very benign to me in 2014 !! At least, let's say, at year's start, there is ... 

.. but I will consult Dr Mamadu, when the time really comes.. - Other than that, Yes - some smaller things look promising, for the first/ or 2nd part of the New Year - Lastly, there are still the unfulfilled agendas, such as: Rolex : 5508 (maybe also 5512...

the platinum. Like another poster stated, it does makes the watch look a bit "cold", but still very special to my eye. Thanks for sharing!

For example, take some too thick hands, and they will be stuck between the dial and the Crystal. Go for a thick Crystal, and you compromise the balance of the Ultra Thin case. Same for the dial. Everything must be super thin. Best, Nicolas

I will hopefully check it out again soon, in Las Vegas, and also, hopefully the 1907 in rose gold. My ultra thin obsession has been sparked in part by the VC 1955, and I would love the chance to see all 3 in the same day! Simple elegance in design is much...
