Changing strap on Reverso Duo (original model)

 

I would really like to know how you found doing changing the strap on the Duo? I tried today unsuccessfully with the tool I usually use and ended up scratching the lug of the watch and not being able to take off the original strap. Is there a particular tool needed or how did you manage it?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

I want to change the black strap with a deployment clasp for a tan ostrich strap. Can the deployment from the first be installed on the second? How is this accomplished? cab0419

It's a piece of cake, provided you have a good springpin tool...

The replacement strap should be 19mm wide at the lug ends tapering to 16mm wide at the buckle/clasp end. The strap is attached to the watch with springpins. Attack these from the back of the watch since the apron on the front of the case partially obscure...
