The alarm sounds for approx. 15 seconds if the crown has been wound all the way up. In a quiet room, the sound is more than enough to wake you up (the sound is amplified if the watch is placed on a flat surface from my experience). To stop it, I think you just need to pull out the top crown, but I’m not used to doing that as I enjoy hearing my miniature school bell

Does the alarm time/crown get moved when you have the watch on your wrist?
No, it does not.
The big difference with the 1st gen (with the black/grainy dial from 2018) is that the middle crown for the inner bezel is a screw down crown which cannot move on the wrist. And on top of that, the inner bezel is also unidirectional on the Mariner.

Just curious …. When the alarm goes off, what is the way to stop/snooze it? How loud is the alarm … enough to wake you up from a nap?
