Size wise it’s great, design is fantastic, my favorite BP to date. The only issue is the crown digs into my hand and I can’t get used to wearing it on the right

Evaluating lost value on a watch without papers

I hope I am not overloading the forum with so many threads in such a short time but I could use some help. So I own an IWC BP LE 48, this one in fact: I have decided to sell it as it is not getting enough wrist time, almost none actually. I had a few loca...

20% sounds reasonable.

Did you buy it from a boutique or AD? Is it still under warranty? Would they have records, or be able to provide you with an ‘extract from the archives’ type of thing? Just trying to think out loud. Not sure how things work with IWC

Boutique

I believe I can get a sales receipt and records. But that does not equal a guarantee I believe

Can you register the watch on IWC’s website.

That should get the warranty/guarantee locked in. The buyer should then feel comfortable. After all, we buy the seller, not the watch

Thank you for confirming

It seems like box and papers is very important for Patek. In that line of watches it’s at least 30% By the way the watch looks great on your wrist. Too bad it doesn’t get enough wrist time. Maybe give it another chance. It might grow on you

It seems there is confusion over Patek and IWC here

I think some brands are more dependent on the paper trail than others, honestly. Patek being near the top of "needing everything". Perhaps you need not worry as much with an IWC Big Pilot -- more than many, this is a watch that stands on its own. Nor is i...

Exactly my sentiments. Keep the watch.

It looks great on your wrist. The dial and your skin tone go so well together. I know what you mean with the crown digging into your skin. Most of the time your wrist is extended so I am sure you will get used to it, I did. Give it some time and just enjo...
