The 3714 definitely shares the same crisp appearance.
I recall initially being daunted by the 3712's size, as it predated the big-watch boom that would come in the ensuing years, but I've certainly had enough time to inure to it since then.
Strapped on this fellow from the past today, the Ref. 3712 split-second chronograph.
Even after three decades, I still love its dial design, so clean and spare. ...
Fully agree, an old picture on this site from 10y ago, still wearing it from time to time.
