BP Miramar

This watch has been getting plenty of wrist time this Fall. I frequently wear this watch like others would wear a GShock and I like how the case looks pristine, and the strap gracefully wears in. ...

Its a cool watch

But I don’t quit get the power reserve indicator on a pilot watch. Fighters don’t stay airborne for days so it doesn’t make sense on the Miramar version of this watch. That would be my only drawback on this watch

How about this version of the Big Pilot?

Personally, I think a power reserve indicator is silly on any automatic watch. But, for reasons stated by roundel, we can make-up our own reasons to enjoy the indicator. ...

Not necessary for a pilot

But to show iwc can last 8 days where most watch 2-3?

Interesting take.

For me the power reserve is fun to watch build as I wear the watch, but the real value is seeing where I stand on power as I peek at my options in the watch box. I enjoy power reserves on automatics from dress, to divers, to pilot watches for this reason....

My comment wasn’t meant that seriously haha

It’s simple I like virtually every IWC pilot watch. Especially the little prince issues (have one myself)
