The first model was the 3700. See enclosed pictures. My 3700 was one of the first 500 produced (they individually numbered those first 500 on the back).
Main distinctive features of the original 3700:
- watch the dial inscriptions: what is written above the date window, what below the date window. Different than yours.
- the date wheel discs were black on white and white on black; it was later changed to all-white-on-black
- most importantly: there was no mention of ""Porsche Design" on the dial. It was actually engraved on the second link of the bracelet, below the "Titan" link
Distinctive Feature to the 3702: change of the bracelet geometry; you see ma other watch which is actually a prototype ("Testuhr" on the back). This is an early 3700 (clear from the low serial and the dial configuaration) where they tested the new, second bracelet configuration.
Finally, the 3704 was again with changed bracelet configuration, this time, the bracelet links were held together with pins going through the entire link.
IWC always insisted on a forced change (upgrade) of bracelet geometry once a Titan Chrono or a Ocean 2000 (same story) came for revision into the factory. This is why you hardly see any Geo1 anymore and why also Geo2 are becoming rare.
Cheers, HSTE
