What's in the box?
The leather box of my Laurent Ferrier Galet Micro-Rotor contained a branded magnifying glass, which is not uncommon, and, more originally, a metal plate with the design of the FBN 229.01 caliber.
The metal plate slides into the front leather cover, where it is visible through an opening.
Please excuse the quality of the photos, which are not very good, but I couldn't take any better ones and I still wanted to share this nice packaging.

Packaging to me is very important

Who makes it? The stitching and leather texture look very nice.
The strap has been designed by and made for Antoine de Macedo,
the only French distributor of Laurent Ferrier, who sold me the watch. It's "double calf" and "hand stitched". Best, Emmanuel

Not a surprise at all, and impressed with this beautiful balance! There are examples of an arguable disparity with some eclipsing the timepiece itself, to those with hardly any packaging (or even none but a plastic box!). It is of course the watch we cove...

One of the nicer box sets I’ve seen.
I’m always intrigued by the different approaches taken by manufactures. I only have in AP but was underwhelmed by the packaging - 15202 RO. On the other had Patek always seems to do a nice job 😊
For me,
Vacheron and Patek make very nice boxes, but a little something is missing to make them special. The wooden box of my LUC has some beautiful marquetry. But this LF leather box is the nicest of them all. Best, Emmanuel
