Nomos has launched 3 new steel watches under the Lambda range. Three dial versions released in numbered-limited edition of 175 each are described as enamel white, black and blue. The Lambda was earlier available only in precious metals and the steel cased... 

I have always been keen on the Lambda even at their gold case prices but now in stainless steel, I simply could not resist. So for me, it was a white dial version - the most classical in my opinion. The movement finishing at this price point is unparallel...  

Look at the chatons, the blued screws, glashutte ribbing and the hand engraved balance cock in Lange style. And the movement is regulated to chronometer specs on top. And Nomos makes its own hairsprings as well..

when the watches were made in Switzerland! I remember that on the same day that I bought my Nomos Ludwig, I also purchased a Patek Philippe Calatrava. Both watches were at differing price points and I monitored both watches for accuracy daily. Amazingly b... 

They aimed pretty high with these watches initially. Putting them in steel revives the value proposition that Nomos is built on. That's a $15K movement in a $7.5K watch.

It is a fantastic move by Nomos to bring a truly high end caliber to an affordable price point and it must be applauded. It is funny to see that when Rolex changes a bracelet link from pin to screw type or for that matter changes a case from 40.9 mm to 41...
