Some of you may recall I took delivery of the Moser & Cie Perpetual 1 a little over two years ago. It was a rose gold black dial version, very elegant in looks.


That watch arrived on the same day with the Observatoire and I was naturally esctatic. Since then, the watch experienced some technical hiccups but Moser managed to correct them. Unfazed, I dreamt about an upgrade to the palladium version when it was later introduced. To me, the lighter metal combined with the fume dial is a killer.

Perhaps in anticipation of the upcoming extra day for the leap year, I was notified by my AD that the first-ever (for them) palladium piece arrived. I of course took no time to pay them a visit, with predictable results. Voila...

I am a very happy man smile as evidenced by these hastily taken wrist-shots:





Despite my poor photography skills, the palladium version is sooooo much better, don't you agree?

I am full of jealous feeling now. I always wanted a Perpetual 1 but can't seem to pull the trigger until I saw the Palladium Fume dial. I'll surely get one in the future. Please show more photo. Regards Tyler

Unfortunately these are the best I can come up with (today is a gloomy day and I got back home rather late in the afternoon). The pictures are not really doing the watch justice... I promise to take some proper ones when I can get my hands to it Best Sam...

Congrats Sam! You have a very impression collection! This Moser fits in with the rest of the collection perfectly! Would be nice to see some of these brothers and sisters sitting next to each other in a line up! Enjoy!

The fumė dial is phantastic. The previous one with The Black dial was beautiful as well. IMHO the Moser Perpetual 1 is the most desirable (save maybe the PP's) perpetual calendar available due to its clean dial. I think the month indication with the ...

Yowza! That PD version is gorgeous, and the original RG with the black enamel is nothing to sneeze at, either. I'm a big fan of the Moser Perpetual -- glad to see that they sorted out some of the initial teething pains and I'm pleased to hear that you lik... 

Lovely. This is one I regret pulling out of the waitlist.

That smoked dial is gorgeous, but I have to admit I prefer the first one. There's something about the contract of yellow gold and a black dial that rings all my bells, and the Moser implementation is particularly successful. nick

My fav version also. I've been "playing" with one like yours for the last two weeks, and it's definitely a reference in the independent haute horlogerie world. Love it's simplicity at first glance, and it's complexity once you realize what's in your hands...
