If I had to keep only one watch, it would be my Breitling Spatiographe Montbrillant
Why? Not because it is the most accurate, technical or beautiful watch I have ever owned but because that would be a heartbreaking.
My parents offered it to me almost 20 years ago for my 20 years old birthday and I know that it was a financial sacrifice for them.
I just hope to keep it still for a very long time and pass it down to my son one day.

Fascinating - jumping minute counter and a 3 hour chrono? The story makes it all the better. And I can relate - got a Breitling Aerospace as a graduation present some 16 years ago myself
Unfortunately, it is not a jumping minute counter but a 10 minute countdown sliding one. You are right about the 3 hours counter at 6
