Was very saddened when it was sold to Bulgari, which relegated the brand to dusty cobwebs. The case shape is so iconic, much like the ellipsocurvex FMs.

He certainly did. I remember thinking to myself in the 90s that his watches brought the style of breguet into modern times. That is to say, while the dial has unmistakeable old world charm, it didn’t look old.

Have always been impressed by the innovative designs by DR. Your piece is elegant and classy ! 👍 Love the blue hands and guilloche inside and outside the circle. The “border” (for lack of a better word / description) along the edge of the dial adds a grea...
