FP Journe Centigraphe - Question

May 27, 2018,15:51 PM

I have a question on winding the Centigraphe.  I was told it would be similar to winding a Lange Chronograph (smooth and light), but I can't tell because the watch is already wound.  Does the winding firm up as it reaches it end?  Any idea on how many winds until it is fully wound?  Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I think it is just as smooth, or maybe a drop smother than my datograph was. The difference is that winding is done with the crown in the first open position.

How many turns

Can you ballpark the number of turns to be fully wound? I assume it may take a fair amount more than the datograph given the 80 hour power reserve. Thanks.

I just wound it , last time two days ago.

It took 8 turns. On the other hand, my lange 1 took 20. The crown and movement make the centigraphe more pleasurable to wind.
