Another indie (on my quick window shopping excursion).
This is an interesting one for me. I’ve lusted after a Horological Machine for several years; the Purists HM3 Frog being the number one desire as many of you may recall me stating many times in other posts.
I feel like the Bulldog has the same spirit as the Frog. Specifically the more appealing (for me) curves which both the Bulldog and Frog share as their eyes (the domes and the hour and minute indicators).
The floating lugs for this one also make it more wearable. Don’t get me wrong. It’s still quite the watch on the wrist, I wouldn’t go as far as saying a monster on the wrist (but bulldog may be the apt description). Even with my 6.25 inch wrist I would wear this one.

I really love MBF. When I first saw photos of the Bulldog, I was a bit skeptical how it would be in person.
The details in person were so impressive and it wore far better than I anticipated. It is a cool piece. You getting one?
No, I am not.
If I get a HM it will be the Frog as mentioned in the post. That’s the one that has had my focus for several years. Re the Bulldog, I agree. In the metal I liked it a lot more because it did wear much better than I expected.

For me, the Frog is the desire. And in the near to medium term I am also fully committed on watch purchases. 2025’s budget is spent and next week may see 2026 and 2027 budget allocated!

Yeah! Was shocked
I was in the touristy part of the city and walked into a random dealer for fun. Turned out they carried a fk ton of independents. They had a huge chunk of the Greubel line up there too, which was pretty shocking
