What a fantastic watch, a big congratulation to you. Love the design. The fact that you’re “self-taught” and managed to come up with this….
I’m blown away, can’t wait to see the finished product! Tom

Big congratulations David. Both for your first post here but, above all, for this watch. Your watch!

What an achievement you made. I’m truly impressed by your work. Your 60 minutes dial is well thought out. It makes me think to an opened fan. I wish you a lot of success in your project. Best wishes Alkiro

Thank you.

A warm welcome, David. I like Your watch. Especially the dial, which reminds me to the "Galet Secret" Tourbillon from Laurent Ferrier. Would like to see more and better ;o) pictures.

Very impressive! I really like the case and dial.

Really well done! Especially the dial - hands combo I like a lot! Also for me the watch would be too big, and the hight looks much bigger than the 9.5mm mentioned. Maybe it's the perspective? I am also looking forward to more pics with the advancements .....

Sorry it's my fault, I should have taken into account the crystal as well. :)

 By: David L. : November 22nd, 2017-14:02
Hi MCG, The case itself is 9.50mm, but I forgot to take into account the domed crystal as well. With the crystal it's 13mm.

Simply stunning!

Have you considered somehow making the same radial pattern on the hour wheel? Perhaps not german enough

Thank you Ronnie I'm glad you like it,

 By: David L. : December 30th, 2017-00:24
To answer your question, I did a CAD version with the same pattern on the hour wheel as well, but it just didn't look nice, at least for my taste. Also, even if I wanted to make it, the engraved lines couldn't go all the way to the center of the hour whee...

Good!

That prooves to me your pretty creation wasn't just a happy accident. Best of luck with your enterprise!

Thank you very much.

No it wasn't just a happy accident. Made lots of versions with different color/layout combinations, but for me this version was the most appealing.

Nice

the dial design is innovative and unique. However the movement maybe can be enhance with a quaky squarish design as it looks too plain or maybe you can remove the unnecessary plate area and skeletonize it. Just my $2 thought.

Thank you iceheller.

 By: David L. : January 14th, 2018-00:45
The movement what you see on the picture isn't completed, the barrel and train bridges are going to be separated which I think will bring the design together. I will share a couple of pictures as soon as I cut the movement. By the way, the partial skeleto...

I salute you! I can only talk in terms of watch but

You actually uses bare hands to create one. May you succeed in your watch-making journey. Road ahead may be tough but it one persist, you will surely find your own northern light at the end of your tunnel. To be yourself. Cheers.
