White gold dial, brass movement. 38mm. (And just a little oxidation on the dial for good measure after 16 years). ...

I wish he was still making 38mm watches. Congrats!

38mm, or 39mm for my CB, is the optimal size for me also. I could do 40mm but every time I put one on my wrist all I see and think is "fat bezel". I can't see past this now.

I've buzzed around a couple FPJ models for a while now - this and the Centigraphe, however conflicting reviews regarding reliability have given me pause. May I ask about your experience with reliability and service on this watch? Kindest regards, Edward

I have three watches from FPJ, not yet had any issues.

Love the dail color and layout . Maybe 38 is a bit to small for my taste . Didnt try a 38 on the wrist yet . Need to do it one day and need to find the right and first FPJ for my collection 🙏🏻 . Thanks for sharing .

I'd encourage you to get one on the wrist and see.

I wear 36mm through to 44mm, I would say that 38-40 is my sweet spot (but this is very dependent on case shape, case design and lugs.

I am always fascinated to see a watch from F.P.Journe

For me, he his the watchmaker who comes closest to the ingenuity of A.L.Breguet. May be better watchmakers with better finish, but in the sum of talents - watchmaker -inventor - designer, I think he is the number one. His design can last for centuries, as...

For me Walter, the design is contemporary and timelesss.

Before I knew anything about the watchmaker, or the watchmaking of FPJ, it was the design of these watches that caught my attention. I'm biased at this stage but I have to say he's had very few doozies (technical term!) on the design front and has been ve...
