The Tourbillon was made from a Time Only. I actually purchased two Time Only watches and had the first one upgraded. This is the original CAD design for the watch.

Richard once told me that he could put a tourbillon in any watch. After seeing some of his later work, I believe it.
There are simple changes that the Habrings support that keeps me wearing their watches. I replaced a copper dial on this watch:

Something as simple as a dial change makes a completly different watch. If at some point you decide you want change the look of your watch, the Habrings can accomodate for the price of the dial. Other companies come out with a different dial and it is considered a new line of watches
One note is that the watches produced by the Habrings can be maintained by any certified watchmaker, even the tourbillions. They simplify complications in their execution. That is one of the reasons they are sought after to design complications for the larger manufacturers.
