The original Korona K1-3 was 44 mm, only the bezel was scalloped, and they were indeed sold out some time ago (end of 2008 I think). The current version, with the (imho better looking by far) 'fully scalloped' case, is 42 mm, and the precious metal versions are just Korona RG/WG, while the steel ones seem to still have the K1/K3 designator. Although, apparently, the only current K3 is the Harvest Moon edition.

But I'm a bit lost I must confess. I thought it was a Korona with a case diameter of 42mm, not a K3. I need to learn more about Stepan's watches ! Fr.Xavier

I really do love the design of the gold case! I need to order another K3 so I can get that cool watchbox! The steel, 1st generation K3 came with a less elegant box. Its nice to see Sarpenava turning it up a notch! Wear it well! asg
