Visit to Manufacture

Hi All,

I was lucky enough to get the chance today to visit the Manufacture in Nyon for a quick tour before picking up my latest addition... the Hublot Zai Skis! It was a very interesting tour (thank you to Kari who showed me around) where I got to meet and talk to several people and to look at the manufacturing process from A-Z. It was totally different from other manufacturers I have previously visited due to the size of the production and the number of pieces they produce. One side was quite clinical with a row of watchmakers working on white benches on the regular models with each watchmaker tasked with a different job in the process, however on another floor my faith was restored in seeing regular benches on the specialist manufacture team (can't remember their new name after CHH, but the ex-BNB concepts) where they were producing the tourbillons, repeaters, etc. and got to see a few pieces they were working on (loved the minute repeater before but in platinum and in front of my eyes... wow!)
