another great idea

even though it is not ground breaking innovation, what matters is the spirit to keep coming up with new ideas esp ones that add value to a timepiece. unlike another brand which is supposed more prestigious and well regarded by many who dismiss hublot as a serious brand for real watch enthusiasts, I for one find their endless variations of one model with different color combinations year after year quite uninspiring and outright boring. it tells you a lot about a brand what they do with their products and how willing and adventurous they are. we as true watch enthusiasts should welcome and embrace and reward these spirits and efforts not brands that keep repeating the same tricks year after year. and no, a 52-week wheel in a perpetual calendar based on a twenty-year old movement is not a technological advancement.

And indeed find them the easiest to use. Nice watch from Hublot but how did they get the patent when the same basic system is used on watches like PP 5164, 5990, ALs Saxonia Dual Time etc.?
