UG Tri-Compax.
Here is something I have been waiting on. I have acquired this one a while back, in terrible condition but at a beautiful price. It is cca. 1970s. With help from my dear friend Damjan, I had it serviced and refreshed. Today, it was Damjan who delivered it to me, and it truly reminded me of the real friendships that are started in this forum.

Glad you like it, I love wearing it. And Damjan was sneaky with it and really made me a big surprise when he delivered it yesterday. And you should know, grappa+watches=friends. I think I can't prove that one mathematically, only the one I showed you.

The base was actually pretty decent, on the face of it (pun intended), but underneath, it was a total mess.
It took almost 6 months to do the actual repairs. The watchmaker took great efforts to bring out the colors on the dial. Now, the red on the date indicator and the blued subdial hands are very visible and beautiful. It was also sort of a joint project for...
