Horological Meandering

Neglected? Over-seen? Under-appreciated? I don't know, I don't care. Glad to have both and that is: the very rare, eary versions.....

...........these are the Ebel Chrono Sport from ca. 1983.

The one on the left: steel/yellow gold. The one on the right: steel/white gold.

In my modest view: top design watch, top design integrated bracelet (hair-eater though!!) AND HERE COMES THE TRICK: top movement. See the date? See "automatic"?.

YIP, they used the Zentih El Primero and called it "Ebel 134".

The very rare early versions have the hexagon crown (the only crown that is acceptable on this watch).

And. hey: try to find the steel/white gold, early version..... impossible.

Anyway.

Cheers, HSTE
