Morning pleasure: Longines Marine Nationale.
Some months ago, I posted a review on that one.
It is now time to share some summer pictures of that watch, which is a true love in my collection.
A static shot:
And the 33 mm treasure on my wrist. Showing it in all in all its sweetness and simple beauty.
It was a time when watches were most often not big monsters. Which proves that elegance is not a matter of size.
And I don't find it too small, personally.

The Majetek reissue? The Greenlander is definitely a beautiful watch as well, much more beautiful than the Majetek in my personal opinion.

Couldn't agree with you more about 33mm! I often wear my 1942 Ebel RAF issue 6B/234 (32.5mm) and think that the reason these watches wear so well is due to supreme case design that would be hard to replicate. Regards, Baruch ...

To a certain degree some of these watches present unprecedented value for money due to their size and 'unpopularity' (and I use that word loosely). None of my friends, even those who profess to like watches, would give this a second glance. Best, Baruch ...
