Jaquet Droz Grande Seconde Collection has been the "icon" of J*D, having been inspired by the pocket watch made by Pierre Jacuqet Droz in 1784.

Really well made "hot" enamel - two layers.
Cotes des Geneve centered at the balance wheel.
The "usual" profile.
Maybe a bit big - due to the thin bezel, looks bigger than it actually is.
Again, look at the very flat surface..... and nice blued steel hands.

Nicely done surface and blue hands.
Cotes des Geneve is a little bit non-aligned?.... but overall, okay.

Thanks, Mike. About the aesthetics.... You may be right. It is not disturbing, but it doesn't have to be there. Besides, with date or not, the layered hot enamel dials is really something. Ken
