Exclusive sneak peek at ultra-complicated watches from Pierre-Michel Golay

Now with Franck Muller Watchland, Pierre Michel Golay is the watchmaking genius behind the grande et petit sonnerie and ultra-thin minute repeater of Gerald Genta. He left Gerald Genta in 1998 and joined Franck Muller in 2006. I mentioned him last year in this post (click here  to see the post) as well as in my Geneva 2007 report.

TimeWerke magazine kindly provided these pictures of some prototypes of Pierre Michel Golay watches, to be launched at WPHH 2009 (World Presentation of Haute Horlogerie, the watch show of Franck Muller Watchland in Genthod). TimeWerke will be running an article on Pierre Michel Golay in the upcoming issue so keep a lookout for it.

Note that the watches pictured are prototypes, the final production versions will be different.
