I was invited to take some pictures of a few watches and among them, a revelation, a Gubelin.
A superb case, whose dimensions are perfect for my wrist, and whose lugs make me think to some divine creations from Vacheron and Jaeger.
The dial, the true soul of the watch, is not less captivating with its warm hour markers contrasting in a delicious way with the black background.
Behind the screw in case back... A manual movement, which I would love to see, if only I didn't forget the bloody case opener!
Damn me!
Anyway, her are some pictures of a watch I've never seen, till today.
And you?
Pretty frustrating, isn't it?
I had to pass on it, as I have some targets which may soon come, so any dispersion is far from being welcomed, but what a lovely watch!
This is the good thing with the Vintage World... You always discover something which makes your list longer...
Best,
Nicolas
