Hi BHK9,
Hi my interesting Cyber friend,
You seem to be the man that knows a lot about the practicality of different watches...but the one that does not say so much.... unless asked...so I ask your advice.
I am thinking of buying a new watch and I am looking at the Portuguese Perpetual Calendar in 18 ct. rose gold with brown crocodile leather strap Reference IW502119 from IWC.
Why am I looking at buying this watch..... which is very complicated on the dial.... and much different from my little Breguet collection....???...and with my bad eyesight....
Well I bought a new set of glasses.....but,....Well I also like the look,....and I think that it might have some future in the history of fine watch making....and the fact that it seems very accurate in it's moon phase design.....much more accurate that PP and all others...except maybe the Lange manual wind ....which seems only half the watch on other points.
If you have had any experience with this watch, then your opinion would be appreciated . You seem to have had many different watches.
If you have experience...please advise...and ....also your opinion on the size and wear-ability as compared to the 5707 Breguet and the Breitling Seawolf which is an even bigger watch.
Naturally any other Purists with knowledge of this watch are asked to offer their experiences
kindest regards,
Jack
