I think it's the same model.
I searched also and found that the first digit of the serial number should be the year of manufacture. But since it starts with 0, I can only assume it is either 1990 or 1980.

On the web there are a few places dedicated to watches made in Japan and or for Citizen watches. I found one identical to yours for sale, within the offer it shows a picture of the mouvement. (see photo) I hope this helps. Good luck ...
