With in the past week I picked up a one owner JLC Master Control Date. While the warranty card showed it was sold in February 2012. Research showed it to be a 2011 Master Control Date made specifically for the Asian market. The case diameter is 37 mm as opposed to 39 mm for N.A. and Europe. It is what I would call minimalist: satin silver dial, with only hour markers, in black, at 6, 9, and 12. 3 is the date window, and there are 5 minute arrow markers. No minute tracks or marks in between. Other than the JLC trade mark, and JaegerLeCoulter, plus Swiss Made at the bottom of the dial in extremely small font. The hour and minute hands are highly polished or treated. The seconds hand is blue steel. That's it. A very sophisticated, expensive looking, and clean appearing watch on a black alligator strap, with folding JLC buckle.
