Strap change warning

Aug 13, 2021,11:57 AM

I'm not able to see that story for some reason, but I didn't find it especially difficult to change the strap - a word of warning though, the "quick release" spring bars are surprisingly poor quality, the small tab on one of mine broke off very easily. FPJ did send me some spares fairly quickly thankfully.

Francois-Paul Friday - #FPJFRIDAY - new straps!

 By: n0wjsti : August 13th, 2021-05:58
My straps have finally arrived, from FPJ HK! Because they do not provide any shipping, I had to get help from a friend to walk in to boutique to purchase, then ship to me. It is tough when there is no boutique or presence in my country; nearest in Singapo...

(I took the liberty of moving your post from the Independants forum to the F.P. Journe Forum as this is where we usually have our Friday roll call ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ‘) Very cool post. I really look forward to seeing the yellow as well as well as the orange mounted. Coinci...

Thanks for helping to edit, I got a little lost along the way, even forgetting how to attach pictures! I currently have it mounted on yellow, after midnight blue and khaki green, but the orange has not been broken in yet Some quick pics that I can share o...

I love this one. It seem to work well with the brushed case

Thank you so much ๐Ÿ˜Š also interesting to hear that you think itโ€™s a better fit than the orange. Please post that too when you feel itโ€™s time to try it out.

Love the yellow!

Just curious, you managed to change the strap readily? .. I was struggling. I tried changing the strap myself.. it was a nightmare.. it just wouldnโ€™t attach.. I end up going back to the boutique to get them professionally done. ...

Yes! I struggled for my first time as well, and considering there is no boutique in a 500km radius, I was in some trouble. I came across Laurent ( @petitsamourai on Instagram) who gave me very clear, step-by-step instructions over Whatsapp. Through popula...

Will keep that in mind and won't force it! And for some reason the link to the story doesn't seem to work. Easier if you go to the profile and click on the highlighted story; it will definitely work there

Great pictures, and cool colour choices.

No Journe on the wrist today for me, but hereโ€™s a recent picture (pre wind, pre time setting). This one a blend of light and dark; I feel the blued hands bring a lot more warmth to the watch overall. ...
