some info

Hi,
the Aerotel (mov. and case signed Heuer) is a Valjoux cal.71 the larger and earlier brother of the later vx 72.
The Borel is a 13''' cal. VZHQ, the predecessor of VX72C - can be discerned from the different shape of coulpling clutch lever.

The Borel movement obviously has the balance cock changed - someone used a spare part from a different movement. Perhaps the same for the chrono bridge.
It wouldn't be  unusual for this kind of watches if it's somehow put together from different parts - but this wouldn't put me off too much.

some things with both watches are very "funny" though.....
- Aerotel, if I'm not mistaken was a sub brand of Breitling, seeing a dial like this on a otherwise fully Heuer signed watch is strange.....
-the "Borel" though, unsigned movement (perhaps cause changed balance cock and chrono bridge) does have the outside case back ref. number 785 - which would fit
a Breitling Datora reference which indeed was powered by a VX72C (or earlier VZHQ version).

Vintage watches can be quite interesting smile

Best regards
