Factory of the years 1880, I think that this model is of the time 1900/1920.

This clock and a similar one to this was handed down to me by my grandad in the 70's I am told he bought it and another one which is with my brother in the 50's on one of his trips wanted to know more about this brand does it still exist I know it's Germa...  

My sister has a similar clock....

....but l do not think it is German. Hers is what they term a ''Birthday Clock'' as you wind it once a year. Not sure your spring barrel is large enough to run a year. Best, John. PS: a quick google search shows a lot on Schatz Clocks who were famous for ...

Will do some research on this! Very honestly I have not wound this clock for decades will try and see if it works!

winding to see it it works, but such 400 day clocks need much tender loving care. And when the oil in the bearings is dried out, which it certainly is after such a long time, running the clock will wear out the bearings very quickly. If you want to get th...

I will look for a reputed clock maker or technician in my city there are a couple of old timers who I have heard about. Will follow your advice my sincere gratitude and thanks for your super advice.
