It's a zenith caiber 49. Opinions welcomed
I've been all over the internet and the best I can do is find out that if it houses an ETA movement / zenith caliber 49; which I think is a 17 jewel unadjusted movement with a larger winding rotor. Does anyone have any experience with these movements in terms of reliability, accuracy and servicing? Also, does anyone know if zenith went to the trouble of rhodium plating the movement as well?

I'm not familiar with this particular model...
it may be best to take this to a watchmaker you trust, have them open the back and identify the movement. Perhaps someone can help you with some impressions once you have this information. Best, mike
