Announcement: Swatch Group Management decides to terminate delivery of Exotic Leather

Hello All,

Just wanted to share this important announcement from Swatch Group HQ, Biel.

Swatch Group management have decided to stop supply of Exotic Leather (Snakes, Crocodiles, Lizards, Sting Rays) with immediate effect. However, leather straps from American alligator, Louisiana (USA) from authorized regulated breeders will be available.

Point Andrew but.....The State of Florida is being overrun with large non-native snakes which as I type are being hunted for a reason..why throw away the skins ? India and China..the largest exporters of leather are also the biggest abusers of the cows wh...

How many watch straps are made fm exotic skins anyway. Would make a greater impact if LVMH or any of the leather goods giants decide so

meaning that even if it really has no effect, it makes the group look good in attempt to show they care about environmental/wildlife issues. In reality is might be relatively meaningless in the preservation of these species.
