A crisis that spurs creativity
Despite the (somewhat continuing) crisis in some places of the industry, I’m really impressed by the overall quality of the pieces at this year SIHH – JLC of course (so many wonderful novelties) but quite a few others have stunning offerings (Zeitwerk Luminous!!!) and most importantly really excellent ideas…
Still also surprised by how some pieces are priced – clearly there is a retinue of collectors with deeper pockets still… or maybe some manufactures are still not completely off the meds…
Overall, what a treat!

Yes, with JLC and Lange as well.. and various other houses... Definitely wasn't expecting so many new creations coming out of the crisis. Their R&D seem to have very deep pockets Very impressed with what's on offer so far... and yes, some of the price...
