Rolex Daytona Gold, Patek 5711-1A or 5800-1A ?
Hi all,
I'm considering buying one of these but I can't decide which one. I know the Daytona is a classic but I only like the Gold ones (yellow or white), although yellow gets more recognition. Patek is more subtle which I kind of like and it's a PATEK!!!. My wrist is about 6 inches. I'd love to hear your thoughts.....

Patek is known to make some of the most, if not the most, prestigious watches ever made and the name speaks for itself.
I say...5800-1A but....
who cares what I think....you should just go with what you like and one that sings to you the most.
As an owner of both watches
I have to say that id prefer the stainless steel daytona over the nautilus any day. Now... the choice of purchase is up to you, all that matters is what you like regards Marwan

Rolex daytona? Buy a Zenith "el primero", cheaper!!!, patek nautilus, is a really overpriced model of PP, the same case of the royal oak of AP. Have you consider maybe a panerai 233 or hautele?
There is some strange appeal about
all all YG Daytona with bracelet ain;t there. I've been thinking (a long long time) about one but not sure I'll ever wear it much given that it would even attract thise challenged in sight. It's a really in your face watch with the bracelet.

Like you, I too have a soft spot for a gold Daytona, but in my case, white gold is the one that appeals to me the most. Either way, both are really cool and if you ever end up getting one, you will have many fans here. Cheers, Alex

tried the yellow gold daytona and I have to say that it's a perfect fit. I haven't gotten a chance to try on the nautilus yet because it is pretty much sold out everywhere I go. I'd have to be put on a waiting list in order to get it. I do like the idea o...
