Bremont a New Contender? This or That?
Hi All,
I've been slowly learning more and more about the Bremont brand and would like to get all your input on one particular Bremont model, namely, the Alt-1/P (photo from Bremont Web page):
So far, I like what I see and what I hear about the brand and this piece. So I pose this question to you: I currently own a Glashutte Original Senator Navigator Panorama Date:
How would you compare the Bremont Alt-1/P to the G.O. Senator Navigator line? Is Bremont outclassed by the G.O. or is it a really worthy contender? Which do you like and why?
Thanks
DB Darien

The GO by far.
By: mac : August 25th, 2010-06:48
After handling and seeing both watches, I think the choice is easy with the GO. I think opting to the Bremont would be more indicative of wanting a change than getting a nicer watch. After seeing all the marketing buzz around Bremont, I decided I want to ...
What about Sinn or IWC?
By: mkvc : August 25th, 2010-11:32
First, I think it's tough to compare Bremont to G.O. I think most would consider the G.O. the higher class watch, but I would not expect its movement to be as tough and accurate as a chronometer-grade Valjoux 7750. Second, I think we're getting a bit carr...
My Take on the Subject

Full Disclosure - I have owned quite a few GO's in my time and am quite familiar with their design, movements and overall quality. I am currently an owner of a Bremont MBII In my view they are quite different watches with a different heritage and very dif...
