Horological Meandering

Anyone have any ideas about this watch...it is a Voumard 17 Jewel. Not a particular fancy watch, but obscure. See Photos...  

From Dr. Roland Ranfft's excellent watch movement resource: Other names: Voumard Service SA, European Watch Co. (E.W.C.) Founding date unknown, but watches from the fourties known. 1966: listed for watches wholesale. 1975: import of the model Voumard 2000... 

it appears there is a logo under the balance wheel that might help to identify the brand of the movement. The shape has a name, that i've entirely forgotten, but the outline looks like a pair of capitol Bs, one backwards, back-to-back A

It's the Voumard logo....  

but it really doesn't look like that to me. Even the spacing is wrong for a square outline in that location A
