Here, with these lugs, it adds a touch of very pleasant " casual ".
There was a Ref 885101 with a tachymeter bezel and a black dial, too. A very powerful reference. And a beautiful one.

I would write splendid piece but
(the first one, which I've owned) but I think exceptionally splendid piece is more accurate!
The lugs really do transform it 👌🏻👍🏻
I personally prefer the silver dial one - it is more coherent to my eyes 😊
