Royal Greenwich Observatory
Dear fellow Purists,
a couple of weeks ago I asked for your advice about an upcoming visit of the Greenwich Observatory in London. Some of you gave valuable hints e.g. to see the watch exposition in the Science Museum as well.
I went there last week with my son and we had a great time particularly in the Observatory itself which I can only highly recommend. But the watch exposition in the Science Museum (free entry) also was very instructive and well designed. The only flaw: the museums are quite crowded (Greenwich in particular), so be early when you come!

I missed your post asking for recommendation. It is indeed a lovely place to visit!
The navy academy as well as the observatory are beautiful places full of history. I quite like the Greenwich foot tunnel too, it is quite an experience. Glad you had some sun! Best, É.
