Locked & Censored
First, the Purists delete the Journe forum because Journe would not accept the Purist's insistence that the Purists management, in effect, become a paid part of Journe's marketing team.
Then, they censor discussion of their emotional and rash decision by locking down each and every post in the resulting thread. When a few non-locked messages end up being posted and are replied to, they go back and delete the replies that manage to sneak through.
Whatever FPJ's faults, the fact is that the company and its products had a following here. The forum has now forsaken the members of that following because of a disagreement with FPJ. Then, they move to stifle debate. FPJ is too closed, controlling and unresponsive? Meet the man in the mirror.
