I presented you the Excenter Perpetual Calendar.

The Perpetual Calendar is an important complication in the Harry Winston story because the first Perpetual Calendar watch of the brand, the Biretro, was unveiled at the beginning of its watch adventure and was the first of the industry to use retrograde hands. It was also the beginning of the partnership with Jean-Marc Wiederrecht.

This Biretro Perpetual Calendar has a totally different dial layout from the Excenter one. It has a symetric one while the Excenter dial seems to be more strict. In fact, both are very original and are far from the classic presentation of the Perpetual Calendar QP.

The Excenter Perpetual Calendar:

The main difference is that in the case of the Biretro, it takes advantage of the full dial to display the time. So the minutes and the hours hands can pass over the other indicators. It is not the case with the Excenter which also features a second time zone display. On the other hand, the Excenter has a smaller time display.

Which dial layout do you prefer and why?
