It is very funny because it was a question I was considering. Very often, I speak about the choice between the Z4 and the Z6.
I do believe that the key point of a choice is the complication which speaks the most to you:
- do you prefer an alarm or a dual-time display ?
- do you prefer a handwind caliber or an automatic one ?
If you analyse the strict watchmaking contents, I would prefer the Z6: the caliber is beautiful and was exclusively developed by J.F.Mojon with Harry Winston. The caliber from the Z4 has a GP base.
Both watches are 100m waterproof (same thing for the Ocean Dual-Time).
Both can be considered as elegant "all-road" watches: even if they are large, they can be worn with a suit. Thanks to their waterproof, you can wear them during a lot of activities. Due to the case shape and the size of the lugs, you have to try them both to be sure that you will wear them with comfort. I have a 17,5cm wrist and they were OK for me.
To illustrate the answer:
Z6:
Ocean Dual-Time:
So between these two watches, I would choose the Z6 for its caliber and for its complication, I don't really need a second timezone display in my daily life which can be different for you.
